The second release of 2022, recorded in various sessions across August/September 2022, "Distant Sequence" takes the usual Karpackonaut formula of full improvisation and tightens the output - Roughly recorded in the jamspace, all music written on the fly and left as-is, no prep, retakes, or fixes, just the best cuts trimmed out and faded in with a little mixing and mastering. This time, over fully instrumental jams cropped from these sessions, vocals were added after the fact, adding a level of form to the usual spacey, flowing, free-form post-sludge of earlier albums.

Slow, meandering post-metal, crushing sludge, stark noise rock and spacey stoner rock breaks within the usual loose and raw doom improvisations abound. credits released November 25, 2022
